Glory of Monsoon

Its 9:55 in the clock. After dinner, I used to take a walk on the terrace but today I can’t. Its raining outside. Very heavily. With addition to that lightning is there. I don’t know why I like monsoon. Is this because its my birthday month? No, this can’t be the reason. But so much is there in it. The perfect season for everything. In school days, our school used to start in the month of June or July. Even there is a complete joy we can see on the farmer’s face. It’s the season when they actually see the result of their complete effort. Then only we get something to eat throughout the year. Monsoon, it always sparkles each one of us.

In the childhood, I used to hate it. Specially, at the time when I get ready to go to school and suddenly it starts. Always wrong timing. Still I have to go. But as days passed, I started liking it. The first meaningful reason about monsoon, I learnt it in WMPC class that it clears all the pollution. It is helpful to clear all the atmosphere. Isn’t it sounds good? It is. There are many beautiful sides of this rain. We just need an eye to look at it.

Last year, in the monsoon season I went to Sinhgad Fort. The experience was amazing as well as horrible. How we reached there that was all okay but while returning we literally faced many challenges. I already aware of the consequences of visiting fort in the monsoon. But still the craze was there I have to go. The horrible thing was it was literally dark while returning from that place. It is quite often. But the timing was really shocking. It was just 3:00 in the afternoon. In addition to this, there was a traffic jam in that Ghat region. Because everyone wants to go home. It took perfectly 3 hrs to cross the 10km road. Isn’t it interesting? We somehow manage to reach the home finally.

It is still raining. I think, it must have stopped till the time I finished my article. So that I can take a walk. But anyways, let this shower brings something new, something peaceful as it always does to me. And this time also, it never fails.
